Here's a quick and simple recipe for a nice chicken stir fry. There are a ton of variations that can be done with this meal, so feel free to get creative.

Ingredients

  • Chicken breast
  • Green beans
  • Cabbage (e.g. bok choy)
  • Bean sprouts
  • Red onion
  • White onion
  • Garlic
  • Rice (e.g. basmati)
  • Soy sauce
  • Chili paste (e.g. sambal)
  • Brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into small pieces.
  2. Chop onions and cabbage.
  3. Stir fry chicken in a bit of oil.
  4. When the chicken is almost done through, add vegetables and stir fry for a couple minutes.
  5. Add soy sauce, garlic, chili paste, and sugar. Mix well.

Note 1: You can thicken the sauce with a little corn starch as it starts to boil

Note 2: Also goes well garnished with cashews or sesame seeds
