This is part two (view part one) of the Venice photos, mostly during the night. Venice is especially beautiful at night, which kind of makes me wish I had brought a tripod. Most of these photos where shot handheld at a high ISO or by using whatever was around me - lamp posts, railings, walls, etc. One of the nights Jenny and I went out to take photos it was really foggy and deserted, giving an eerie aura to the entire city. We came upon a lone policeman checking doors to make sure shops had been locked and nothing would get stolen.

A 180 degree view of a dark night
New years eve and the countdown were absolutely amazing. The entire square was filled with people, everyone was drinking wine from bottles and little plastic cups. Everyone was dancing and at several points I had to run back to the hotel to get or guide people, swimming through the crowd and dancing in the streets as everyone smiled. At one point Jenny and I danced too far (well, maybe it was just me hehe) and nobody else was partying in that street, which was a little awkward.
